Rupiah currency transfers between banks can be done in many ways. One of the newest features of Bank Indonesia (BI) is BI-FAST.
BI FAST is a national retail payment system infrastructure that can facilitate retail payments faster, safer, more efficiently, and flexibly. The primary purpose of this service is to provide payment system services that are fast, easy, inexpensive, secure, and reliable. BI Fast is now present in MAS Mobile and Internet Banking or transfers via tellers at Bank MAS branches.

1. Fast: Online transfers can be received in real-time with a transfer limit of up to IDR 250 million/transaction and a daily limit of IDR 500 million MAS Mobile.
For Internet Banking & tellers, each limit per day is IDR 100 billion and is unlimited.

3. Save: The transaction fee is only Rp. 2500, - even free for transactions using MAS Mobile
4. Simple: Transfers can be by Account, no. Cellphone and email address
For information, BI Fast can currently be used between banking institutions already connected to the BI Fast network, including Bank Mandiri, BCA, BTN, UOB, BNI, BRI, Bank Mega, Permata, and Bank MAS, of course.
How to Transfer with BI FAST via the MAS Mobile Application
Using No. Account
• Login to MAS Mobile, select the Transfer menu
• Select the BI Fast menu
• Select the BI Fast type option with the account number
• Select the destination bank, enter the transfer amount & confirm with the Transaction PIN
• Transfer completed
*Options will appear if the receiving bank has joined the BI FAST network
Using mobile number & email address
• Login to MAS Mobile, select the Transfer menu
• Select the BI Fast menu
• Select the BI Fast type option with mobile number/email
• Select the destination bank, enter the transfer amount & confirm with the Transaction PIN
• Transfer completed
Immediately register your mobile number and email address to become a proxy address* at the nearest Branch.
*Proxy address: a replacement identity for an account number that is easy for the customer to remember in the form of a cellphone number or email address.
Urgent:
- One cell phone number or one email address is only valid for one customer account number that is valid nationally at all banks in Indonesia.
- This proxy data is stored securely at Bank Indonesia
- Registration of this proxy address is carried out at BI FAST participating institutions (banks that have already registered BI FAST)
