On January 28, PT Bank Multiarta Sentosa Tbk (MASB) appointed Haryati Lawidjaja as Director of Digital Banking Services (Digital Banking Services). The appointment of Haryati (familiarly called Fey) is in line with Bank MAS' strategy at the June 2020 IPO, which announced that digital banking services would be held to improve and expand services for the Indonesian people.
The decision to appoint Fey as director resulted from the MASB Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS). This decision will be forwarded to the Financial Services Authority through a fit and proper process.
Haryati Lawidjaja is not a new name in the digital finance industry. Previously, Fey served as President Director at the LinkAja company. In addition, he has also held positions at BTPN, Telkomsel, Nokia Finland, XL, and Arthur Andersen.
President Director of Bank MAS, Ho Danny Hartono, revealed, "With Fey's various experiences in the digital business including digital finance, we are optimistic that Bank MAS can serve the needs of the Indonesian people, especially MSMEs, more extensively in encouraging financial and economic inclusion in Indonesia."
With the new departments and directors, it is hoped that after the exchange of warrants, Bank MAS will receive an additional IDR 500 billion – IDR 650 billion, which brings its equity to IDR 3.22 trillion meeting the minimum capital requirement (IDR 3 trillion) from the Financial Services Authority.
